The western region of Fukushima Prefecture, centred around the city of Aizu-Wakamatsu, is known for being the prefecture’s most historically significant wing. On this guided taxi tour, you'll visit two of Fukushima’s most popular spots -- the regal Tsurugajo Castle with its peerless architecture, and Ouchi-juku, a well-preserved thatched-roof village straight from the samurai age. In between you’ll experience wappa-meshi, a famous local delicacy served in special wooden dishes, to complete a day trip that showcasing one of northern Japan’s most beautiful regions.
