On this tour, you'll hike through Urabandai's Goshikinuma area in snowshoes to take in its gorgeous winter scenery. The guide will explain what you will see in the tour, help you to put on your snowshoes, and answer any questions you may have before heading off to the trailhead.
Hiking through the Urabandai Area (Goshiki-numa Ponds)
You will hike through the snowy forests of the Urabandai Area while seeing some of the Goshiki-numa Ponds. This is the time to take plenty of photos and learn more about the region.
Return to the Starting Point
The tour will finish where it started: at the Urabandai Bussankan (souvenir shop for local products) parking lot [裏磐梯物産館 駐車場].
Return the Equipment and Say Goodbye to the Guide
Now that you are back, you will take off the snowshoes and return the poles (if any), and bid farewell to your guide! Now, feel free to go back to the Urabandai Lake Resort and rest.
